In 2011, he is a member of the Foundation Royaumont’s Pergolesi-Cafaro academy with the Paladins. Even if his repertoire spreads over the Renaissance (du Caurroy) to the twentieth century period (Villa Lobos, Britten, Gervasoni), Guillaume Figiel Delpech focuses on baroque and classic music as Handel, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Mozart, Cimarosa, Cafaro…

 

He made his professional debut in a recital in 2011 with the Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse. He has appeared in many festivals as St Victor in Marseille, Jeudis Musicaux of Royan, Festival of Tournon sur Rhône, Abbey of Royaumont, Abbey of Ambronay, International Organ Festival of Bordeaux.

In 2013, Guillaume Figiel Delpech sang in the Stabat Mater of G. Pergolesi and P. Cafaro and in a Haendel recital with the Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse. He also made a tour with his favorite organist and pianist Marc Chiron through south of France with a program of French German and Russian melodies.

In 2014 he sang in recital in Chateau Yquem and Chateau Cheval Blanc. He also made his debut on stage in a Tribute to Rameau during Agora Festival of Bordeaux in September. From 2014, he regularly works with Geoffroy Jourdain and Les Cris de Paris. In 2016, he made his debut in the Opera Bastille as the Pastore alto in Orfeo of Monteverdi.  He still does many recitals like Festes Baroques des Graves and in the Summer Evenings of the Ville de Bordeaux, in the court of the City Hall. 

In December 2016 he made his debut at the National Opera of Kiev (Ukraine) as Giordano Bruno in Limbus Limbo by Stefano Gervasoni.He has performed extensively in concerts abroad in places such as Austria (Wiener Konzerthaus), Italy (Roma, Chiostro del Bramante), and Spain (Barcelona, Palacio Montjuic).

Guillaume Figiel Delpech discovered music by beginning violin lessons at the age of 7 at the National Conservatory of Bordeaux. He moved on to viola, then studied classical guitar with Olivier Chassain. He began studying voice with Jacques Schwarz in Toulouse National Conservatory.  He has also attended master classes with for instance Jean-François Lombard, Gabriel Bacquier, Mireille Larroche, and Jean Paul Fauchecourt. He participated in the prize-winning recording of Lamentatio by C. Festa for Arion. Guillaume Figiel Delpech has also recorded the Preces Eccesiasticae of Eustache du Caurroy (©Triton) in 2010 and an album of sacred French music “Musique à la Cour du Roy” (©Triton) released in 2013, with the ensemble Les Chantres. 

He works with Marc Bleuse, Joel Suhubiette, Jérôme Correas and the Paladins, Stephane Cardon, Alix Bourbon, the Ensemble Baroque de Toulouse, the Mozart Midi Pyrénées Orchestra, with Gilles Colliard and the Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse, Geoffroy Jourdain and Les Cris de Paris, and Vincent Dumestre and Le Poème Harmonique.
